Why is everything around here so well maintained? 🤔🇱🇰

We kept noticing it throughout our trip.

The roads? Beautiful.
The places? Absolutely stunning.
But there was something else we kept noticing…

People actually cared about the surroundings.

No unnecessary littering. Public places were respected. Everyone seemed to have this basic understanding — “This is a public place, so it’s our responsibility too.”

Travelling teaches you many things, and Sri Lanka’s civic sense was one of them 🤍

We mostly booked our Tuk Tuks 🛺 through the PickMe app because the fares were often almost half of what we were quoted on the streets💰
