With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Shri Prakash Masand, the force behind Masand Arts over several decades.
A gifted photographer, a determined fighter, and a man who lived with purpose, Prakash ji dedicated his life to photography and to capturing the beauty, stories, and emotions of the people around him.
His camera was not merely a profession—it was his passion and a way of seeing the world. His work, principles, warmth, and boundless energy continued the enduring legacy of his father, TV Masand, the founder of Masand Arts Studio. He will continue to live in the memories of the many individuals he touched.
We invite family, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers to join us for his Uthavana–Pagri Rasam on Tuesday, 18 August 2026, from 4:00–4:30 PM at Geeta Bhawan, Indore.
