For nomadic herders, their cattle are none less than their ‘family’. I clicked this picture in the outskirts of Indore while I was on my way home after a road trip. These nomadic herders take immense care of their cattle and travel with them. The sun was about to set, so the lady was trying to collect all her ‘family members’ and settle in that field, temporarily though!

Sarus Cranes, A Complete Family
I clicked this picture in the outskirts of Indore in the first week of February. A place called Machal, around 60 kilometres from Indore boasts of a lake where these birds are often found.
This is one of those shots of mine to which I had to give a lot of patience and time.
This is their royal take off.

'STANDING TALL AMONG RUINS'

This is one view of the UNESCO World Heritage site - The Qutub Minar. The minar doesn't stand alone to recite the Historical stories. There are several other sites of interest in the Qutub Minar complex.

Many sources say that the complex wasn't developed by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak. It is belived that there were pavilions dedicated to the 27 constellations of the Hindu Zodiac around the tower. The destroyed remains of these pavilions can still be found around the minar.

'Searching Hope'
It is mid January and winters have struck Indore and nearby areas. On the evening of 13th January, I saw a boy near a heap of garbage in the outskrits of the city. When I looked at him closely, I could see how much he was suffering because of the bitter cold. He wore no woollens, in fact his body was not even covered. His face had got discoloured because of the cold and all that he could search for was 'HOPE'. The next moment, he ran towards a small hut on a street nearby.
