From 11–14 December, two of my photographs were selected for exhibition at the Jaipur Tiger Festival — a truly unforgettable experience.

There he was, the young male cub of Arrowhead, resting near the calm waters, yet carrying a storm within him. For a long while, he sat right in front of us, his presence undeniable, his growls echoing across the jungle as if to remind every creature who truly belongs here.

We waited, holding our breath with each sound he made. The forest was alive with his energy, a mixture of youthful defiance and the raw power of a tiger finding his voice.

And then, almost suddenly, he rose. Step by step, he began walking straight towards us, every movement deliberate, every glance piercing. In that instant, the distance between human and wild vanished, it was just him, the jungle, and us, locked in a moment of awe.

This was more than a sighting. It was an encounter with a story still being written, the story of a prince of Ranthambore, carving out his place beside the legacy of his mother, Arrowhead.

I didn't hear him at first.

Just a gentle rustle in the grass... and then those eyes. Calm, unbothered, and yet powerful enough to freeze every thought.

This wasn't a hunt, nor a chase. It was just a moment, his moment, in the heart of the jungle.

The tiger didn’t roar. He didn’t need to.

His presence alone reminded me why he is called the king of the wild.

Every inch of this forest belongs to him.

You don’t find moments like these, you wait for them.
And sometimes, if you're lucky enough, the jungle offers you a glimpse of its soul.

Like a shadow slipping through gold, the leopard melted into the tall dry grass without a sound.

You don’t find leopards in the wild, they find you. And when they’re done, they vanish like a story half-told.
I stood still, not daring to follow. All I had was a glimpse, a moment of magic in the jungle. And somehow, that was enough.

In the world of wildlife photography, not every image roars. Some just whisper their way into memory.

Caught mid-roar, mid-realm.
When the forest speaks, it doesn’t whisper.

There’s a brief moment, just before the jungle returns to silence, when a tiger reminds you, this land is his.
He wasn’t growling at prey or threat. Just stretching, yawning… yet everything around him paused. Even I forgot to breathe.

That’s the thing about tigers. They don’t ask for attention. They command it.

Nature doesn’t perform, we just have to be lucky enough to witness it.
