"It seems no work of Man's creative hand,
by labour wrought as wavering fancy planned;
But from the rock as if by magic grown,
eternal, silent, beautiful, alone!" ---- John William Burgon
Bhangarh fort was built by Bhagwant Singh in 16th century. It was abandoned by its citizens due to some unknown reasons. Though ther are many local tales of this fort you can hear. Some says its a haunted place some says its cursed. Haunted or not this fort has its own charm, and that should not be missed if you are planning a trip to Jaipur. Bhangarh fort is within 100 kms from Jaipur, good for a one day trip.
* Try to visit this place around 3- 5 pm when sun is not that bright, crowd will be lesser you can enjoy those small alleys on your own*

“Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wildness is a necessity” ― John Muir

Why do I love mountain?
1. Life at mountain is so peaceful and simple you can find your true self.
2. Challenges at the mountains make me realise, how much precious life is, and how lucky we are.
3. Maybe you are going through the hardest part, but at the end you will be able to the Mountain(read success) standing there, to welcome you.
4. Mountain makes people simple, kind and friendly. Every time I go to Mountains, end up making some new friends.
5. Mountain has really cute dogs 😛😍 The list is never ending.... In one word if you ask me if I am a mountain person or a beach person... Hell yeah I'm a MOUNTAIN PERSON 😎

Rakchham-Chitkul road is considered one of the most dangerous roads in the world. But the breathtaking beauty of green valleys will be a treat for your eyes. 🙂

He's a real nowhere man
Sitting in his nowhere land
Making all his nowhere plans for nobody
Doesn't have a point of view
Knows not where he's going to
Isn't he a bit like you and me?
Nowhere man please listen
You don't know what you're missing
Nowhere man, the world is at your command....
trust me guys this Beatles song set the perfect mood for this road trip....on a perfect morning we started for Chandra taal from Kaza. This is the loneliest road I have ever seen....this place is so remote, so untouched you can really feel the power of nature. We are so tiny in front of her... Respect her and she will provide you with abundance..... 📷

"If you trust in Nature, in what is simple in Nature, in the small Things that hardly anyone sees and that can so suddenly become huge, immeasurable; if you have this love for what is humble and try very simply, as someone who serves, to win the confidence of what seems poor: then everything will become easier for you, more coherent and somehow more reconciling, not in your conscious mind perhaps, which stays behind, astonished, but in your innermost awareness, awakeness, and knowledge.” —Rainer Maria Rilke
Mud village...it is one of the remotest village of Pin valley. The road to Mud bifurcates approx 20 km before Kaza.... Breathtaking beauty of lush green valleys among the deserted mountain is worth the detour.... 📷

Light fabricates shadow, shaping illusions and fantasy so that they seem real. Light is not the destination of the soul, but it's friendly trickster. By embracing all light, all shadow, all illusion and reality, we become free to explore, create and trust not only our path, but the paths of others - that each is as it should be.......

This is my favourite pic of Dhankar monastery, taken from Dhankar lake trail. Dhankar village in on the way to Kaza from Tabo. This is a must stop, if you're planning a trip to Spiti valley..... 🙂

"You may not always have a comfortable life and you will not always be able to solve all of the world's problems at once but don't ever underestimate the importance you can have because history has shown us that courage can be contagious and hope can take on a life of its own."
This was the first glimpse of Nanda Devi.. after we reached Auli.
