A little crazy ;)
Mostly passionate =) Look forward to hearing from you :)

International wedding photographers based in New Delhi / Toronto. Going Bananas Photography is a team of two photographers who are absolutely and completely crazy about photography and capturing natural human emotions, expressions & moods! The people behind the camera are called Abhimanyu and Prasheila. We both love laughter, spending time with the people we love, travelling, food and celebrations

. Photography to us is not just about taking a picture or even about freezing a moment. It is about emotions, memories, love (we are BIG on love!). And these are elements you can see in all our photographs :)

While Prasheila excels in a photo-journalistic style of coverage, Abhimanyu loves to play with angles and light. Two distinct styles that make sure nothing is missed! No "professional photographer" can ever match the results that a "friend-photographer" can give – those candid moments, that personal touch, that story-telling and the emotional and light moments in an intimate manner. That’s why we want to spend the time knowing your story – everything from how you met, to your eccentricities; from what is special for you, to your story going from single to married!

Somewhere between the bass drop and a swirl of flying dupattas, the dance floor with Mundota Fort in the background turned into absolute madness. We were shoulder-to-shoulder in the crowd, dragging the shutter through flashes of neon light and spinning bangles—trying to catch that perfect blur of joy. At one point someone’s celebratory punch nearly knocked the camera clean out of our hands. Chaos everywhere. But inside that chaos—these colourful frames. The exact rhythm of the night, frozen mid-madness.

Sometimes the right light is just there and sometimes chasing light for beautiful portraits takes us to unexpected places and back alleys.
We didn’t direct much that day. We just followed the current of the river that is Kaveri.
Thank you for letting us witness you in your truest rhythm.

Drums echoing through the streets, shoulders swaying, laughter everywhere. Between the rhythm and the revelry, a baraat signifies the start of a new story. Here’s to beginnings that arrive dancing!

1. Aishani & Naman | Delhi
Broke tradition and walked in together, just shared rhythm and love.

2. Nikhil & Khyati | Goa
A vintage car, coastal air, and his sister right beside him. Grand in form, intimate in feeling.

3. Armaan & Radhika | Mexico
On horseback, with palms on one side and the ocean on the other.

4. Nikhil & Ish*ta | Mundota
Just pure joy.

5. Vivek & Vrinda | Bikaner
A tractor, a cousin at the wheel, and an iconic entry.

6. Pranav & Anjana | Mahabalipuram
The pagdi came undone more times than we could count—each time thanks to dancing that refused to slow down.

7. Mehul & Maneet | Jim Corbett
A forest, a horse, and a baraat surrounded by green.

8. Anand & Aneesha | Goa
Rain showed up unannounced—but so did a friend with an umbrella.

9. Rishi & Kaveri | Delhi
Atop a dhol, carried by beats and pure adrenaline.

10. Anshuman & Sakshi | Delhi
No rush, no noise—just a walk filled with quiet confidence.

Winter sunlight, still water, and a courtyard echoing with laughter—this haldi at Mundota Palace was all about the love surrounding Nikhil and Ish*ta. Friends arrived with armfuls of petals, gently (maybe not haha) unloading bags of flowers over the two of them by the pool; quiet mischief, warm sunlight and infectious laughter. The most beautiful celebrations are the intimate ones that stay close to the heart.

Farewells are never one moment. They arrive in waves, in hands that linger, in eyes that won’t hold steady, in embraces that want to last forever. Moments where love takes new shapes.

1. Anjana & Pranav | Mahabalipuram
Manju Aunty, Raina & Vandana look on as Anjana leaves for her new home, and this is the moment where strength finally gives way and tears arrive after a day of holding it all in.

2. Radhika & Armaan | Cancun, Mexico
Radhika is caught between two goodbyes, with her brother, Anurag, holding her close while Uncle and Reema, her sister, quietly come undone in the background.

3. Ish*ta & Nikhil | Mundota
Ish*ta throws kheel into the air like a ritual of release, and then gathers little Meher into a hug, as if to carry a piece of home with her.

4. Maneet & Mehul | Jim Corbett
Maneet leans into bua’s embrace, a familiar and steady love that holds her for just a little longer.

5. Sakshi & Anshuman | Delhi
Sakshi receives a gentle kiss on her hand from daadiji, a moment that carries generations of love, pride, and unspoken blessings.

6. Anshika & Gautam | Jaipur
Anshika and Mehul meet each other in their shared vulnerability, where a brother tries to stay strong and a sister holds him anyway, both learning how to let go.

7. Aneesha & Anand | Goa
Aneesha stands surrounded by her family and friends, feeling the moment settle in as laughter softens and emotion begins to rise.

8. Aanchal & Jitendra | Jaipur
Aanchal holds on to her father, and in that embrace lives years of growing up and the quiet understanding of what comes next.

9. Ilesha & Akshay | Delhi
Ilesha’s father embraces Akshay with quiet trust while she stands just beyond, between leaving and arriving.

Winter sunlight, a Delhi street, and Rishi’s pure, unstoppable energy at the centre of it all. From the very first dhol beat he was everywhere at once: pulling friends into the circle, spinning cousins into louder cheers, turning the whole baraat into a moving festival. And the best part? Kaveri’s side didn’t just watch—they jumped right in, matching step for step until it felt less like two families meeting and more like one giant dance floor.

Not every emotion lives on a face. Sometimes it gathers quietly in hands. Fingers tightening for courage, palms softening with trust, a thumb tracing circles that say “I’m here” without a word.
Across cities, oceans, and ceremonies, we kept noticing the same thing: the real story often unfolds just below the frame in the way hands find each other and hold on.
1. Shambhavi & Ruchir | Jim Corbett
In the middle of their phoolon ki holi, petals in the air and laughter everywhere, their hands found each other. Steady, playful, completely present in the chaos.

2. Armaan & Radhika | Cancun, Mexico
Armaan tracing the intricate lines of Radhika’s mehendi, hunting for his hidden name while holding her hand like he already knew the answer.

3. Vaishali & Anujan | Lodhi Garden
A quiet afternoon couple shoot, their fingers intertwined in that gentle way that says comfort, familiarity, and years of knowing.

4. Rudro & Dipika | Florence
While Dipika’s brother exchanged vows with Karishma, Rudro held Dipi’s hand—sharing the warmth of a family moment unfolding.

5. Radhika’s Parents | Cancun, Mexico
Just before the kanyadaan, steady breaths, and hands moving with the tenderness only parents carry in that moment.

6. Karishma’s Parents | Florence, Italy
As emotions welled up during the ceremony, Karishma’s father quietly reached for his wife’s hand—love holding love steady.

7. Meha & Shamal | Udaipur
The hastmilaap: two hands meeting as families, traditions, and promises gently come together. .p

8. Khyati’s Kanyadaan | Goa
Parents placing their daughter’s hand into Nikhil’s—a gesture centuries old, yet always deeply personal.

9. Mehul & Maneet | Jim Corbett
During Maneet’s emotional vidaai, their hands locked together, holding on through the moment that asks you to let go.

Mundota Fort held its breath for Nikhil’s and Ish*ta’s sangeet; with sandstone glowing under the Jaipur night, music rising through the courtyard, and their chemistry running like a current between every step.

He’s a phenomenal dancer, and she’d been teasing him for weeks about delivering a performance worthy enough to finally earn his spot in her girls’ WhatsApp group. There are apparently rules, benchmarks, and a silent panel of judges. We can confirm he came prepared. The footwork was sharp, the confidence effortless, but it was the way he kept looking at her mid routine, like the entire audience had disappeared, that made it land.

And then Ish*ta with her girls. Epic is an understatement. It was wrapped in elegance, layered with friendship, and framed by Mundota’s arches.

Kaveri ~ One who brings prosperity and abundance ~
A quiet radiance, a vision in lilac, soft warm winter light, surrounded by marigolds.
Soft winter haze filtering through the windows turned Kaveri’s portraits into soft paintings; a little pocket of stillness before the wedding two days later.
