🌊🐫 Did you know? Rajasthan’s Thar Desert was once underwater — 50 million years ago!

Long before the golden dunes of the Thar Desert became a symbol of timeless beauty, this land lay beneath the ancient Tethys Sea.

In the heart of Jaisalmer, palaeontologists from the Geological Survey of India uncovered extraordinary marine fossils dating back to the Middle Eocene period — nearly 50 million years old.

🗿 What was found?
• Fragments of a primitive whale (jaw & vertebrae)
• Shark teeth
• Crocodilian teeth
• Turtle bones
• Dinosaur eggs

Imagine… the sands you walk on today were once ocean floors.

It’s a powerful reminder — landscapes are not permanent. They are chapters in Earth’s ever-evolving story.

Where devotion became architecture. Where poetry became prayer.

Tucked away in Amer, Jaipur, the Jagat Shiromani Temple (17th century) stands as a rare spiritual confluence—
🦚 Lord Krishna,
📜 Meera Bai, the fearless poet-saint of the Bhakti movement,
🕉️ and Lord Vishnu, all enshrined under one sacred roof.

This isn’t just a temple.
It’s a reminder that faith doesn’t shout—it sings.
That love for the divine can be rebellious, poetic, and eternal—just like Meera’s devotion to Krishna.

Every carving whispers a story.
Every stone holds centuries of bhakti, resilience, and surrender.
Standing here, time slows… and the soul listens.

Ending 2025 with a tiger sighting at

Calm. Massive. Unapologetically powerful. 🐅

December gave me more than a sighting — it gave me a sign.
Silent strength, steady gaze, and absolute presence.

If this is how the year ends, imagine what’s coming next.
2026 is loading with tiger-sized progress, focus, and wins.
No noise. Just impact. ♥️🧿

Nature always knows how to send the right message.

26th December | Jim Corbett National Park

Calm… yet commanding. 🐅
Graceful… yet fierce. 🐅

We were gifted a moment with the jungle’s true royalty.
The tiger appeared unhurried—sat for a while, drank water, looked around, tested the air with a gentle sniff, and then walked away like it owned every inch of the forest (because it does).

Time stood still. ♥️
Hearts raced. ♥️
Eyes stayed locked. ♥️

Moments like these don’t just stay in photographs—they stay with you forever.
And yes… of course the tiger was lucky to spot us too 😀🐅
Nature always knows how to leave you awestruck. 😅

Jaisalmer…..💛
It is often spoken about for its golden dunes at Sam & Khuri, but the city’s true legacy lives in its havelis.

Standing proudly near the heart of the city is Patwon Ki Haveli, a masterpiece of 19th-century Rajasthani architecture.

Built in 1805 AD by Guman Chand Patwa, a wealthy trader of gold, silver and brocade, this is not one mansion, but five grand havelis, created for his five sons.

Carved from golden yellow sandstone, every arch here tells a different story. 💛

Intricate jharokhas 🔅
Delicate mirror work 🪞
Hand-painted walls 🖼️
and finely detailed facades reflect the wealth, taste and craftsmanship of a bygone era. ♥️

Today:
• One haveli functions as a heritage museum under the Archaeological Survey of India
• One is a heritage stay
• Others continue to preserve Jaisalmer’s mercantile history

Inside Jaisalmer Fort, there are 8 must-see havelis — but the Patwon Ki Havelis remain the most iconic of them all.

A reminder that Jaisalmer isn’t just a desert destination —
it’s a city built on trade, art, and timeless architecture.

🎨 Rang Mandir, City Palace, Jaipur

Hidden within Chandra Mahal, the Rang Mandir — Hall of Colours — was created in the 18th century as a sanctuary of light, reflection, and quiet luxury.

One of the private chambers of Jaipur’s City Palace, accessible only with a royal tour guide due to its proximity to the present-day royal residence, Rang Mandir served as a royal bedroom. Its walls are adorned with exquisitely detailed mirror work, each piece crafted by hand.

Beyond beauty, the design was deeply functional. When hundreds of candles were lit, the mirrors and glass absorbed the heat, turning the room into a natural heater, offering comfort during Jaipur’s long winter nights.

Imagine being here centuries ago—watching candle flames dance across the walls and ceilings, hearing the soft jingle of anklets as you settle into a royal bed, the warmth slowly easing you into sleep… 🫧💭🕯️🪞

A place where colour becomes calm… and art becomes prayer. ✨

✨ Caption: The Golden Citadel of Stories ✨

Rising from the heart of the Thar Desert, Jaisalmer Fort glows like a dream in golden sandstone — Sonar Quila, as locals fondly call it.
Built in 1156 by Rawal Jaisal, this living fort is home to people, temples, and tales still alive in its narrow lanes.
Every arch, every balcony, whispers of a glorious past — of kings, caravans, and desert winds.

🪨 Gopachal Parvat, Gwalior | Where faith meets resilience

Carved between the 7th and 15th centuries, the monumental Jain rock-cut sculptures at Gopachal Parvat stand as some of the finest in India. These towering figures of the Tirthankaras, carved into sandstone cliffs, represent centuries of devotion and artistry by Jain rulers of the region.

But history has not always been kind. In the 16th century, the armies of Mughal Emperor Babur inflicted heavy damage on these sacred images, defacing many faces and limbs. Yet, despite invasions and neglect, the sculptures still stand tall — silent witnesses to the endurance of faith and heritage.

📍 Gopachal Parvat, near Gwalior Fort, Madhya Pradesh
🌿 A reminder that culture, though scarred, survives.
