Phases Of Construction Work
1. Site Clearance
Removing unwanted materials such as bushes, trees, debris, topsoil, and obstacles to prepare the land for construction.
2. Excavation
Digging soil for foundations, footings, septic tanks, basements, etc., using manual tools or excavators.
3. Foundation
Constructing the base of the building (like isolated footing, raft, or pile) that safely transfers load to the soil.
4. Plinth Beam
A reinforced concrete beam constructed at the plinth level to tie the foundation walls and prevent differential settlement.
5. Super Structure
All construction above the plinth level—columns, beams, floors, walls, and roof.
6. Brick Works
Building walls using bricks or blocks with mortar to form rooms, partitions, and structural walls.
7. Lintel Work
Casting RCC beams above doors and windows to carry the load of the wall above openings.
8. Slab Construction
Constructing RCC slabs (roof/floor) using shuttering, reinforcement, and concrete.
9. Electric & Plumbing
Installing electrical wiring, switches, DB panels, water supply pipes, sanitary lines, and drainage systems.
10. Interior & Exterior
Internal and external finishing works such as plaster, false ceiling, façade work, wall putty, etc.
11. Flooring
Laying tiles, marble, granite, wooden flooring, or other finishes.
12. Painting
Applying primer, putty, and paint to both interior and exterior surfaces for final appearance and protection.
