Happy World Tiger Day 🐯

BANDIPUR 2014 Canon

My first and the only sighting of this majestic animal.

The late tiger is called by the name Prince of Bandipur.

These pics are taken during Nature trip organised by Nature club in 2014.

We had planned a three day trip to Bandipur, Mudumalai to explore wilderness.

We had booked 9 safaris and witnessed many wild birds and animals.

But even after 8 Safaris we dint get a change to sight any Tiger. We were all disappointed that we were not able to see any tiger .

So on last Safari, there was pin drop silence and our eyes were wide open in search of tigers.

During last Safari ,we happened to see a vulture which was very close to our Van. So we just stopped and started clicking pics.

While everyone were seeing vulture, all of a sudden we heard the voice "Saaar Huliiii".

It so happened that as all were busy seeing vulture, the tiger was just passing behind us.

Suddenly everyone just started peeping out of window with excitement and witnessed this MAJESTIC walk of the PRINCE.

This is one of the unforgettable moments which even now appears infront of my eyes.

This incident boosted my interest in wildlife and wildlife photography.
