Once, the old Sankheshwar Jain temple stood as a place of faith, devotion and quiet grandeur. Its carved stones witnessed generations of pilgrims—until, according to local tradition, the temple was destroyed during Mughal-era attacks. What remained was not silence, but a story etched into broken walls, weathered pillars and scattered stones.
Today, these ruins stand beneath the open sky—a reminder that buildings can fall, but faith leaves traces that time struggles to erase.
