Darbhanga Rajbari (also known as the Darbhanga Raj Qila) is a grand historical palace complex in Bihar, India. It was the main seat of the Khandavala dynasty, who ruled the wealthy Raj Darbhanga zamindari. The vast estate was famed for its royal European-influenced architecture, vast landholdings, and heavy patronage of Maithili culture.

Established during the Mughal era by Mahesh Thakur in the 16th century.By the 20th century under rulers like Maharaja Kameshwar Singh, it grew into India's largest and richest zamindari estate.

The sprawling fort area houses notable structures like the Ram Bagh Palace and Nargona Palace.

Following the passing of the last members of the royal family, the historic estate has been the subject of administrative takeover proceedings by the Bihar state government.

Vizianagaram fort is an early 18th-century fort in the city of Vizianagaram in northeastern Andhra Pradesh, South India. It was built by Vijaya Rama Raju, the Maharaja of Vizianagaram in 1713. The formal ceremony, while laying the foundation for the fort, was very auspicious as it represented five signs of victory. The square-shaped fort has two main gates, of which the main entry gate (the "Nagar khana") has elaborate architectural features. There are many temples and palaces within the fort and a victory tower.
