There’s something incredibly therapeutic about freezing a split second in time.

For this shot, I wanted to capture the quiet, magical poetry of a simple "sugar drizzle" settling over fresh chocolate. It took a bit of patience and precise timing—but seeing those raindrop like, mid-air particles semi-suspended in the light makes every bit of it worth it. As rain, the sugar here is in both motion and rest.
Brought to life using the incredible speed of the Nikon Z9 paired with the versatile sharpness of the Nikkor Z 24-120mm f4 lens.

Tea has become a part of quintessential Bengali culture irrespective of caste, creed or economic position. In a Bengali heart, tea is never just tea. It's adda and morning or late afternoon light, the pause between two long conversations, the steam that holds stories. 🍂☕

Two cups, a slow pour, and a piano quietly filling the gaps — this feels like home. It’s the kind of moment where time stretches and nothing is hurried, much like the way a cup of cha finds its place in our everyday rituals.

Shot this on my Google Pixel 9A, letting the slow motion soak in every little detail. Maybe it’s the Bengali in me, but tea will always feel like a gentle embrace.

Here’s to slow sips, softer melodies, and the kind of silence only shared tea can bring.

Is there anything more soothing than a warm, hearty bowl of soup? 🍵✨ This Coriander-chicken egg soup is my latest obsession, especially as the evenings get a bit cooler.
​I spent quite some time trying to capture that delicate wisp of steam just right, wanting to showcase not just the food, but the feeling of comfort it brings. There's so much beauty in simple, nourishing ingredients.

Playing around with some moody product lighting in the kitchen today. ☕️ I really wanted to capture the cinematic feel of the steam, so I set up a strong backlight to make it glow against the dark background. The dynamic range on the Pixel 9a handled the highlights beautifully, and a little finessing in Lightroom and Photoshop helped pull those rich, dark amber tones out of the glass.
