बनारस का इश्क़ गा की लहरों सा चंचल है ये मन, तेरी यादों में डूबा, जैसे काशी का आँगन। वो मणिकर्णिका की आग, और दशाश्वमेध की आरती, जैसे मेरे हर अहसास में, तेरी सूरत है उतरती।

अस्सी की वो चाय, और कुल्हड़ की सोंधी खुशबू, मेरी बातों में बस, अब रहने लगी है तू। गलियों के मोड़ पर, जैसे कोई पुराना सवेरा मिले, तुझसे मिलकर यूँ लगा, जैसे महादेव का डेरा मिले।

ये इश्क नहीं मामूली, ये बनारस की रीत है, जहाँ मोक्ष की चाहत भी, बस प्रेम का संगीत है। घाटों की सीढ़ियों पर, जो नाम तेरा लिख दिया, मैने खुद को आज, इस शहर सा अमर कर लिया।

As I conclude this wedding season and prepare for the next year, I am filled with a deeper sense of gratitude and alignment with myself and the type of work I aspire to create. The experience of documenting weddings has been incredibly enriching, allowing me to witness and capture the beauty of humanity, love, and precious moments. Bathed in a sea of auspicious yellow, the venue echoed with laughter and the rhythmic beats of traditional songs as family and friends gathered to bless the couple. The golden turmeric paste, symbolizing purification and prosperity, was applied with much joy—transforming the ritual into a playful event filled with smiles and shared warmth. From the vibrant décor of marigolds to the intimate moments of elders offering their heartfelt blessings, the ceremony perfectly captured the essence of their journey toward a lifetime of togetherness.
