Vibgyor : Online Photography Competition

Rules and Regulations

Theme of the Competition: Expressions

1. Only 1 picture is allowed per entry.
2. The image should not exceed 2 MB in size.
3. Editing will be allowed to minor changes of cropping, sharpening, contrast, shadows and highlights. Any further manipulation is highly discouraged.
4. The picture should be saved as Participant’s Name_Competition.jpeg
5. All the entries should be mailed to "[email protected]" (with your name, your department, batch, contact no. in subject line).
6. The photograph should be accompanied by a caption (maximum 10 words) along with a description of it (maximum 25 words) written in the content (body) of the e-mail.
7. Watermark is not allowed on the entries.
8. Last date for submissions is 23.09.2013.
9. Photographs clicked through mobile phones are allowed.
10. Plagiarism should be strictly avoided and any such photographs shall be immediately disqualified from the competition.
11. Rule of Judging: The entries will be judged on the basis on summation of following factors.
i) Verdict from the judges’ panel
ii) Likes gathered on the Facebook post comprising of the entry in the competition (the deadline for inclusion of likes is until 10 PM of 24.09.2013)

Rules and Regulations

Genres (Topics) on which the photographs will be displayed:
a) Monochrome
b) Nature and Landscapes
c) Abstract
d) My City

1. At most 2 pictures are allowed per entry.

2. The image size should be more than 2000 pixels.

3. The last date for submissions is 19.09.2013

4. The picture should be saved as Participant’s Name_topicname_exhibition.jpeg

5. The entries should be submitted in a pendrive to either of the contacts mentioned below. For any clarifications, please contact any of the numbers provided below.

6. Entries not related to the topic will not be considered.
