It is always difficult to visually represent any event that has taken place a long ago. Marichjhapi Massacre is such a historical event. Soumya's work has given soul, visuals, and most importantly a voice.

If you are in Kolkata, then do visit the ongoing exhibition at Experimenter. The exhibition is open for visitors from 12-6 pm everyday till 31st July.

‘womyn at work’ is a collaborative curatorial web series by Tracing A City (India), AIB/ Art Initiative (Dhaka, Bangladesh), LIVE HIVE (Goa, India), and PhotoPeer (Kolkata, India). ‘womyn at work’ is going to be on-air in a durational action research model conceptualized as a trans-disciplinary interactive format - where we principally wish to explore the non-narrative visual agents with a subversive curatorial interest. It is a 3-month long episodic exchange within the neo-web-series model. It will start from August’20 onwards till October’20.

For Episode 3, we are collaborating with Amy Singh – Chandigarh | Anoushka David – Mumbai | Kannakee Bhuyan - Guwahati. The entire program will be moderated by Sadya Mizan (Bangladesh) - Mitali Nath (India) - Imran Ahmed (India) & Kaur Chimuk (India).

The THIRD episode of WOMYN AT WORK 2020 starts from 11 October'20 and continues till 20th October'20. 

Stay with us through the four exciting segments of interactions and participations. 

“Womyn at Work” is a collaborative non-binary art intervention from South Asia started in the year 2020. They introduce a unique participatory process of observing artistic expressions by formulating four interactive segments that stimulates the essence of the work by Womyn artists from around the globe.

It is a collaborative curatorial expansion by Tracing A City(India), AIB/ Art Initiative Bangladesh (Bangladesh), 

LIVE HIVE (Goa, India), and PhotoPeer ( Kolkata, India)
