In Kolkata, I spent a few hours documenting the work of Siddharth Rungta, aka The Dogfather — founder of The Pet Society, a professional dog trainer whose approach goes far beyond commands or tricks.
His work is built on clarity, consistency, and respect.
Not dominance. Not shortcuts.
But clear communication, reliability, control, and confidence — the foundations that allow a dog to experience real freedom under control.

This session focused on moments from his everyday training practice, working primarily with Dexter, his main working dog — a highly focused and exceptionally well-trained German Shepherd. From precise obedience to controlled protection work, Dexter’s intelligence, power, and responsiveness reflected the depth of his training and the bond between dog and handler.

While this film captures only a slice of his work, The Dogfather’s broader training scope includes:
• Obedience
• Protection
• Scent work
• Engagement
• Lifestyle integration

This was my first time creating supporting content for an individual business, documenting real work in a limited time window — and the beginning of many more collaborations to come.

Mist drifts across the park as ancient instincts rise.
Two stags meet, antlers locking in a brief, thunderous exchange — not of anger, but of purpose.

This is the language of the rut.
A moment shaped by seasons, survival, and restraint, where strength is tested and balance quickly restored.

Wildness speaks softly most of the year — but here, in Petworth Park, it still echoes. 🦌🍂

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Lottie, Kayley, and Matt.
We wanted to create something Christmassy, colourful, and cosy, and Chichester city centre turned out to be the perfect backdrop.

Honestly, I had the easiest job ever. They were incredibly natural in front of the camera, full of warmth, and had the most wholesome family vibe. Lottie was bursting of energy—I genuinely had to keep pace with her—and she was just as photogenic as her parents.

The hardest part came afterwards: choosing the final images. There were so many beautiful moments that narrowing them down was no easy task.

Unscripted moments, real connection, and a little Christmas magic in between.
