🌸 Blooming beautifully against all odds. ✨

This vibrant pink Oleander (popularly known as Kaner or Arali) is a true symbol of resilience, thriving effortlessly in the summer sun while adding a dramatic burst of color to the landscape.While its stunning, five-lobed blossoms look incredibly delicate, this evergreen shrub is famous for being tough, drought-tolerant, and low-maintenance. A perfect reminder that strength and beauty go hand in hand!

⚠️ Quick note: As beautiful as it is, remember that all parts of the oleander plant are highly toxic, so keep it admired from a safe distance from pets and kids.

Howrah Bridge

The Howrah Bridge, officially known as Rabindra Setu, has a total length of 705 meters (2,313 feet) and spans the Hooghly River to connect the cities of Kolkata and Howrah in West Bengal. It was designed by the British firm Rendel, Palmer and Tritton and constructed by The Cleveland Bridge & Engineering Company in partnership with India's Braithwaite, Burn & Jessop Construction Company (BBJ). The bridge cost approximately ₹2.5 crore (£2,463,887) to build in 1943, using 26,500 tons of steel, nearly all of which was high-tensile "Tiscrom" steel supplied by Tata Steel. Structurally, it is a cantilever bridge, meaning it is supported only by the massive piers on either bank, with no pillars in the riverbed itself to obstruct the flow of water or ships.

Kalapokhari (Lake)

High on the Sandakphu trail where the prayer flags blow,
Rests the dark, sacred water that refuses the snow;
A mirror of ink at ten thousand feet high,
Where weary trekkers pause beneath the cold sky.

Gautama Buddha in "Dharma Chakra Pravartana" mudra.

Dharma Chakra Pravartana (meaning "Turning of the Wheel of Dharma") refers to Gautama Buddha’s first sermon at Sarnath's Deer Park after achieving enlightenment. It established Buddhism's core philosophies—the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path.

1. The Four Noble Truths: Address the reality of suffering, its cause (desire), its cessation, and the path leading to its end.
2. The Noble Eightfold Path: Represents a practical, ethical way of life—Right View, Thought, Speech, Action, Livelihood, Effort, Mindfulness, and Concentration—to achieve liberation (Nirvana).
3. Symbolism: The Dharma Chakra (the Wheel of Law) features eight spokes representing the Eightfold Path. This emblem sits at the center of the Indian national flag as the Ashoka Chakra.
