Felt like I was in a movie, Kinnaur definitely is earth’s premium side!

A small town in the upper himalayas, just above Reckong Peo, the main journey to Spiti valley starts from here. I was lucky enough to experience it while it was packed with snow, and it did not stop snowing for days here.
A town with a tight knit community, the locals treated us so well, it felt like I was right at home.

The mountains move my soul and Kalpa holds a different place in my heart. Just go and explore this place, and comes without saying - Be a respectful and responsible traveller, resect local cultures and keep your surroundings clean!✨

A new perspective - or as I would take it as, Visiting my roots.

I started with street photography a long while back, probably 8-9 years back where I just wanted to practice and click portraits of random people on the road and surroundings that I visited. Observing how light fell on each and everything and noticing day to day actions of people - It got me thinking about a lot of things and humbled me every single time I clicked a picture of someone.

It just felt like I could do this more often and I should keep doing this, This was the confidence I got while I was on the streets of this same city, planning to make this my career.

Thanks to and for coming down to Ludhiana and probably giving me a wake up call to revisit my roots and the best part? I got to try a beast of a camera - The GFX100RF - A point and shoot Medium format camera, that blew my perspective wide open on that fine morning. Have posted these images from what I captured in different aspect ratio’s that I interchanged in the camera itself, something I was dearly impressed with. Also 102 megapixels 😮‍💨 Had my system coughing a bit haha!!

Shoutout to the community for bringing this culture back to Ludhiana and inspiring more people to see the world with their lens.
