Hidimba Devi temple or Hadimba as the locals call it dates back to 1553.

But we are familiar with it from the movie "Yeh jawani hai deewani".
Dedicated to Hidimbi, the wife of Bheema, the temple is built around a huge rock jutting out of the ground is worshipped as the deity.

Surrounded by the forest and Himalayas in the background, this place is a must visit for the tourists in Manali.

The Sakrebyle Elephant Camp is a forest camp for captive elephants in Karnataka.
Situated at a distance of 14 km from Shimoga on the Shimoga-Thirthahalli Road, it is considered to be the best camp for training elephants in the state.
Feels so good to see those baby elephants dance and bathe in the river, obeying their mahout's orders.
Do visit once everything goes back to normal :)

Varanga Jain temple,
The Kere Basadi has a history dating back over 850 years. It is dedicated to the Jain Lord Parshwanatha. The temple is built as a four-faced symmetrical structure. Thus, it is also known as a Chaturmukha Basadi.
The temple can be approached only by boat and hence, the moniker of the Lake Temple.
