This isn't Haldi. It's a Catholic traditional ritual from Coastal Karnataka and Goa called Roce, where coconut milk is applied to the bride or groom before the wedding ceremony.
Just because you're unfamiliar with something doesn't mean it doesn't exist or that it was made for views and likes. It has been a part of our culture for years. Yes, friends may add fun elements and that's completely their choice. Also, she had fun and more than anything, she was happy...that's all that matters.
We've shared Roce moments before too. Just because this one went viral doesn't mean it was done for views.. it would have happened exactly the same, with or without the camera.
