The Dwarf Blue Sheep (Pseudois schaeferi) native to high mountain slopes of the Himalayas, accross India, Nepal, Bhutan and China.

Hilariously, they are neither blue nor sheep. In fact, these caprines are more closely related to the Tahr, a variety of the Mount
These beautiful 'goats with sheep like traits' are considered endanged under the IUCN list of Endangered species of 2003, with only 200 remaining.

They are sometimes confused with their close cousins, the larger and more widespread Blue Sheep (Pseudois nayaur), found in India, Pakistan, Bhutan and Nepal. The Nayaur population is in fact very high (>47000) in respect to the Schaeferi and hence deemed Least Concern by the IUCN.

But the threats both populations face are the same, poaching, habitat loss due over rearing of livestock which take over their pastures, forcing them out.

This third photo in the series, is a stark contrast to the last two pictures. It depicts a scene at one of the Buddhist Caves in Ellora which used to be a monastery.

Watch how a mother waits for her children to come to her, lovers on the first floor holding hands, and some tourists exploring the sanctum of the monastery. Among all this, the one man on the steps, a solo traveler and a trash can are the only two things still in the photo.

Commotion at the Maqbara.

This is Bibi ka Maqbara in Aurangabad, the resting place of Aurangzeb's wife, commissioned by Aurangzeb himself and built by their oldest son.

The monument was built to look like The Taj Mahal, but turned out to be not quite so, I believe. There are 4 minarets around the monument, of which 2 are visible in this shot and 2 I have purposefully left out.
