In general bird having good eyesight but Kingfisher have great eyesight to do strike on its prey (mostly fish) which is under water !!!
I think there are three important elements common in military Air-Strike and Kingfisher Strike...
1) Calculation of motion in two different medium 2) Precision of time 3) Pinpoint action with surprise

Very common aquatic bird but when I saw it first time it's quite surprising for me that a small bird having such a long legs. Stilts are creating illusion by water reflection... Nature give enough strength to all creatures for self protection !!!

Size of this bird is around 17 to 19 cm, slightly bigger than Sparrow but see the fingers and nails of this bird it's too big !!!

So many types of "Warbler" are here in Gujarat this one is Booted Warbler. સીતા ફુત્કી name in gujarati another one is Tree Warbler known as રામ ફુત્કી in gujarati, best known દરજીડો (Indian Tailor Bird) is also come from this Warbler family. The name in gujarati (ફુત્કી) should come from an energetic brownian motion flying pattern of its !!!
