Under the aegis of the Ghoton Committee, the Choephelling Tibetan settlement in Miao joyfully celebrated the 91st birthday of His Holiness on July 6-7, 2026. The ceremony was graced by Honorable Minister Shri Wangki Lowang ji of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh as the chief guest, alongside Shri Vishal Shah IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Changlang, as the guest of honor. The event was also attended by esteemed special guests, including Shri Kirli Padu IPS, Superintendent of Police Changlang, Shri AK Singh, CO 8AR Miao, Shri L Thongon ADC Jairampur, and Shri D Wanghu ji, SDO Kharsang, along with other dignitaries and a large crowd of attendees. The celebration began with prayers for His Holiness's long life, followed by warm felicitations to the guests and mesmerizing Tibetan cultural performances. Followed by delicious lunch served to all guests, dignitaries and public.
