A very less known unique route of Magathane depot which is the only one to run on self owned buses and is unique one to go to Bhayandar W and doesnt run on Sundays.

Blast from the past…

The video was taken almost a year back when JNNURM buses were still operational and serving very few last remaining routes.

Midi bus as seen in the reel were introduced in the last 80s to traverse through the narrow lanes of especially the new upcoming suburbs of mumbai then. These small buses are now becoming so common as almost all routes these day get these buses due to traffic issues.

Almost a year ago…

The is from last year when route 188 existed and was serving the Kanheri Caves.

Dont know why, but the route was discontinued and now private buses serve the same route at much higher prices.

Do let us know your views about discontinuing the BEST buses and having private buses run..

The newbies of Poisar…

A new batch of PMI buses has been allotted to Poisar Depot and are currently being run on route 276 and 272.

These buses have a great pickup but are restricted to 40kmph.
