My 1st Documentary.....
Some stories begin with experience.
Ours began with none.
Five people from completely different backgrounds came together with one simple goal. To make a film. We had no film school, no roadmap, and no idea what we were doing. Just a shared belief that we had to start somewhere.
Then we met a family of sculptors.
For two generations, they have dedicated their lives to crafting Ganapati and Mata Ji idols with faith, patience, and immense respect for the process. Watching them work changed something in us. They reminded us that mastery does not begin with knowing everything. It begins with showing up every day and trusting the process.
That became KARKHANA!
A documentary about art, faith, family, and a father's legacy.
It took us two years to make. Between full time jobs, college, and life, we kept coming back to this film because we believed the story deserved to be told.
Today, we are humbled to share that Karkhana has been officially selected at the International Cultural Junction UKRAINE 2026. It was screened at Uzhorod Castle and will now be shown in Ukrainian schools as part of a cultural awareness and exchange programme.
It is surreal to think that a story born inside a small workshop in Vakola has found its way to a castle in Ukraine.
This recognition belongs as much to the family who trusted us with their story as it does to every member of our little crew who refused to give up.
Thank you to everyone who believed in this film. Most of all, thank God for opening doors we never imagined existed.
From Vakola to Ukraine.
Karkhana has only just begun.
