Flamingo's
Every year thousands of flamingoes fly from Kutch in Gujarat and stay in Mumbai for around six months. They arrive in November and leave by June but the best time to see them is during January to March as these months sport the maximum number. Out of all the spots in Mumbai, Sewri is the best to see them.
Flocks of flamingos can be found in Mumbai during their season which is usually fromDecember to May. If you want to sight these tall-legged birds, you can find them from the Thane Creek to the Sewri jetty area till the Elephanta caves area, which is a 15-20 km stretch.

There are two points where you can spot them
One is in sewri and one is in nerul.

The wild water buffalo (Bubalus arnee), also called Asian buffalo, Asiatic buffalo and wild Asian buffalo, is a large bovine native to the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. It has been listed as Endangered in the IUCN red list since 1986, as the remaining population totals less than 4,000. A population decline of at least 50% over the last three generations (24–30 years) is projected to continue. Its cormorant bird
The little cormorant is a member of the cormorant family of seabirds. Slightly smaller than the Indian cormorant it lacks a peaked head and has a shorter beak. It is widely distributed across the Indian Subcontinent and extends east to Java, where it is sometimes called the Javanese cormorant.
Its basically a very aggressive bird if any other bird enters into his territory then it open ups his wings and gets into battle form..

Do you know its Name
If No then we will tell you all about it the bird here is know as "Coppersmith barbet"
So basically the coppersmith barbet is also called crimson-breasted barbet and coppersmith, its an Asian barbet with crimson forehead and throat, known for its metronomic call that sounds similar to a coppersmith striking metal with a hammer. It is a resident bird in the Indian subcontinent and parts of Southeast Asia
