There’s something about South Indian weddings that feels timeless. The temple gold, the jasmine woven into hair, the sound of rituals passed down through generations, every detail carries meaning, not just beauty.

And watching all of that unfold in Singapore felt almost cinematic. A celebration rooted deeply in tradition, yet unfolding so gracefully in a city miles away from home.

Vivekha & Harish brought that balance alive so effortlessly, soft laughter in the middle of rituals, quiet moments between the chaos, and a kind of love that never needed to perform for the camera.

Maybe that’s why weddings feel so emotional. Because while everyone else sees a celebration, parents quietly live through every memory all at once.

Some people spend their whole lives trying to explain love. Sometimes, it looks like your mother quietly standing beside you through every version of yourself.

And sometimes, you only truly understand it when life places someone in your arms, and suddenly her love makes sense in ways words never could.

This phase has been slowing me down, softening me, teaching me to stay present. To hold on a little longer. To appreciate the ordinary moments that someday become the ones you miss the most.

This feels less like a celebration, and more like gratitude. For my mother. For this new chapter. For the kind of love that asks for nothing, yet gives you everything. 🤍
