“A “A postcard from Madrid 📮☀️

”There’s something magical about Plaza Mayor on a sunny day — even at just 8°C, the square hums with warmth and history. The sound of footsteps on cobblestones, laughter echoing through archways, and cafés spilling out stories from every corner.☕

Built in the 1600s, this grand square has witnessed royal coronations, markets, and even bullfights — yet today, it feels timeless. Locals bask in the sun, artists sketch, travelers pause… and for a moment, everything slows down.

While going through my image gallery, I found this image, which is taken in Jezuri, way long back into the time.
Deep down even though I know its not possible but on the other hand feel bad that we can't time travel. Loved this wonderful play of light, colours, shadows and shapes.
Typical arches, and beautiful vibrant colours, combined with the wonderful golden light.
