A wedding day is full of moments you can plan for the portraits, the rituals, the family photographs, the details, and all the big celebrations you’ve been looking forward to. But there’s another side to the day that doesn’t make it onto the shot list.

It’s the friend’s reaction from across the room. The laughter that happens between two rituals. The dance that starts without anyone planning it. The little moments at the table, the conversations in the background, the people being completely themselves when they forget there’s a camera around.

These moments aren’t directed or recreated. They simply happen, and that’s what makes them worth keeping.
Because when you look back at your wedding photographs years later, you won’t only want to remember how everything looked. You’ll want to remember the people who were there, the energy of the day, the things that made you laugh, and all those small moments you didn’t even realise were being captured.

We’ll always photograph what’s on your shot list.
But we’ll also be watching for everything that isn’t.
The photographs you didn’t plan for.
The ones that quietly become part of your favourite memories.

Some relationships don’t change overnight. They take shape slowly through conversations that become more meaningful, days spent getting to know each other, and the little moments that gradually bring two people closer.

As wedding photographers, we get to step into these stories for a brief moment and witness what years of knowing each other have built. With Salonee & Karan, it wasn’t just about documenting the wedding day. It was about noticing the comfort between them, the familiarity in their interactions, the way they naturally found each other in a room, and all the little details that spoke of a relationship built over time.

What we love most about documenting weddings is that the celebration is only one part of the story. Behind every photograph is a journey, the people, the memories, the ordinary days, and the moments that eventually led to this one.

For them, this day marked more than a wedding. It was a celebration of everything that brought them here and the beginning of everything that comes next.

It’s about everything that happens before the picture is taken the laugh that catches everyone off guard, the quiet glances, the people making each other laugh, the hug that lasts a little longer, and all the little things that happen when nobody is thinking about the camera.
We believe the best photographs don’t always announce themselves.

Sometimes, they’re found in the in-between.
In a fleeting expression.
In an unplanned reaction.

That’s what draws us to candid and documentary photography the freedom to let moments unfold without interrupting them. To observe rather than direct. To preserve the day as it was, rather than recreate it for the frame.

Because years from now, you may not remember every detail of the day. But you’ll remember how your father looked at you before you walked away. How your friends laughed during the celebrations. How your partner reached for your hand without thinking. How the room felt when everyone you loved was there.
Those are the photographs we want to make.
Not just pictures of your wedding, but a record of everything that made it yours.

So, on World Photography Day, we’re celebrating the photographs that feel less like photographs and more like memories; honest, unfiltered, and completely in the moment.
Here’s to photographing the moments you didn’t pose for, the emotions you didn’t plan, and the stories that happened in between.
Happy World Photography Day.

A wedding is a celebration of love, but it's also a celebration of family. And somewhere between the ceremonies, the portraits, and the celebrations, there are the tiniest guests quietly creating some of the day's most unforgettable moments.

As photographers, these are the moments we naturally gravitate towards. While everyone is focused on the big events, we're also looking for the little stories unfolding in the background, the flower girl twirling in her lehenga, the ring bearer proudly carrying out his tiny responsibility, cousins inventing games between ceremonies, or a child watching the bride with complete admiration.

Years from now, these photographs become more than just cute memories. They become reminders of childhood, of generations celebrating together, and of the joy that filled every corner of the day.
Because the smallest guests don't just attend the wedding.

They remind everyone what celebrating without hesitation looks like.
And somehow, they always end up stealing the show.

Some stories stay with us long after the final frame is captured, and this was one of them.

Our time at Six Senses Fort Barwara was nothing short of extraordinary. Surrounded by timeless architecture, breathtaking landscapes, and an atmosphere that felt both grand and intimate, we had the privilege of documenting a love story that unfolded with effortless grace.

What made this experience truly memorable wasn’t just the beauty of the location, it was the moments in between. The laughter shared during quiet walks through the fort, the unspoken glances, the excitement, and the genuine connection that made every photograph feel authentic.

As photographers, we’re always searching for stories that feel real. Stories that don’t need direction, only space to unfold naturally. This pre-wedding gave us exactly that, allowing us to create a collection of images that we’re incredibly proud of.

We’re honoured that these photographs earned recognition at the WOW Awards, a milestone that makes this story even more special to us. More than anything, it’s the experience, the memories, and the trust placed in us that we will always cherish.

A beautiful couple, an unforgettable destination, and a story that will always hold a special place in our journey.

Three awards. Countless moments. An unwavering belief in the stories we tell.

Winning awards is always an honour. Not because they mark a first, but because they remind us that the moments we care so deeply about matter.

For us, wedding photography has never been about perfect poses or orchestrated emotions. It’s about preserving a feeling before it becomes a memory. The glance exchanged across a crowded room. The nervous smile before walking down the aisle. The tears that arrive unannounced. The embrace that lasts a little longer than expected.

The moments that are never asked for are often the ones remembered forever.

Documentary wedding photography is, and always will be, at the heart of everything we do. It asks us to slow down, to observe, and to tell stories with honesty. To photograph not just what a wedding looked like, but what it felt like to be there.

Long after the flowers have faded and the celebrations are over, it’s these moments that remain. The way your mother looked at you before letting go of your hand. The laughter shared with your oldest friends. The quiet pause before forever begins. These are the memories we chase not because they’re extraordinary, but because they’re yours.

Awards are beautiful milestones, but they have never been the destination. The greatest privilege of our work has always been being invited into life’s most meaningful moments and preserving them with the care they deserve.

Three awards later, our purpose remains unchanged to create photographs that don’t just help you remember your wedding day, but allow you to feel it, years from now.

To every couple who has trusted us with their story, thank you for letting us witness yours.

And to the stories that are still waiting to be told we can’t wait to meet you.
