Before photographing a space, I love to slow down.

I go on looking at how the material meets another, the way light settles on the walls, the warmth of the wood and how each co exists.

These are the details that rarely get noticed but together they become the language and identity factor of a space.

These are a few material studies from one of my favourite places to learn and be, Light & Life Academy !

Assisting .in on shoots like this one is something I genuinely look forward to.

Being on the other side of the camera means I get to help curate the space, make sure everything is just right and in doing that, I also get to slow down. To really see. To observe every design decision, every styled corner, every small detail that comes together to make a vision tangible.
