A challenging shot sitting in a shaky boat and was lucky to get this in a frame. Hope you guys like it.

Pelicans are characterised by a long beak and a large throat pouch used for catching prey and draining water from the scooped up contents before swallowing. They have predominantly pale plumage. The bills, pouches and bare facial skin of all species become brightly coloured before the breeding season.

The Asian Paradise Flycatchers (Terpsiphone paradisi) - also known as the Common Paradise Flycatchers - occur naturally in Asia, where they have an extremely large range.

Originally, they were only believed to occur in India; however, ornithologists later reported these birds in other Asian countries and - mostly based on differences in plumage of males - identified and several others are currently being researched, proposed and debated.

Habitait : Rocky Hills with steep edges and cliffs, well wooded country.

Habits : Crepuscular and nocturnal. Pairs rest during day in hollow tree trunks and ruins or secluded tress. Stare and bob at the intruder in a clownish manner.
