Devotees from Barsana come to Nandgaon to play Holi. They enter the temple and sit in front of Lord Krishna’s ideal, chanting the holy songs.
They keep on singing and enjoying till their calls are answered.

Was going back to my hotel when saw these kids playing on the porch of a house. All the kids ran inside when they noticed the camera except for him. He stood in the same position, enjoyed being in the spotlight and his eyes followed me till the end of the road.
A born actor.

Tranquility
Yet again the land of Kashmir and the waters of Dal lake mesmerised me with the calmness of its natural meadows and the sparkling waters. No wonder it is called the God's Own Land' !

The Green Carpet
Never rest. On the second day of my trip, visited the vegetable market and on the way back was satisfied with the clicks. Was going back to the city on the shikara with my camera packed inside, when suddenly I encountered this Green Carpet, took my camera out immediately and did what I enjoy the most.
Lesson learnt - Never pack your camera when you are at such a beautiful scenic place.

Rendezvous
Friends having a discussion. Came across a small residential colony in Dal, a small boat or raft was parked infront of every house. The people were really hospitable and their big morning smile was a better nutrient than any sunshine.

Beyond the Horizon

After crossing the floating post office came across this mesmerising scene. The lake was covered in the foggy veil, not allowing any light to pass. Everything was plain and static. Sat there and relished my creative cells before capturing the nature in my camera.

Clicked while on my way back from the morning vegetable market. Everything was calm and quiet. The architecture was quaint and out of an old floating house, this boatman road past us, into the beautiful abyss called Dal.
