Cheetah is half the size of Wildebeest. One kick by wildebeest will prove fatal for Cheetah. Here Cheetah emerged as one of the greatest hunters.

Such is the grip of cheetah that the wildebeest choked to death in a few minutes. cheetahs heart beats shoot up quickly during the hunt and they need to cool it down before start eating the kill.

Here cheetah was recovering and looking out for other predators. During the strangulation, the hair of wildebeest neck got into the mouth of Cheetah.

Once I was in the forest, I was eager, alert and prepared to observe and capture whatever the forest had to offer. To capture the sighting of Kabini's famous leopards resting on a teak tree is in itself a photographers dream come true. This image or the series of images that I was able to capture on that fortunate June afternoon a year back, beautifully exhibited the rare interplay of the leopard's behaviour just before they were able to mate in order to create more life inside the thick Kabini forest.
