ISKCON Temple Noida is a Hindu and Vaishnava temple, which is dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radharani. In the beginning of the temple, a very beautiful statue has been created, gave knowledge of gita by Lord Shri krishna to arjun, which makes this temple special. It is situated on a main boulevard and adjacent to Krishna Jayanti park (owned by the government, maintained by ISKCON), the temple is highly accessible and visible. As modern and progressive as the city it overlooks, still it represents the Caintanya Vaisnava tradition. On either side of the front of the temple are giant reliefs of Sri Caitanya and Nityanada, and the temple opened on the anniversary of Lord Nityananda’s appearance.

PURANA QILA

Popularly known as Pandavon-ka-kila, the Purana Qila stands on a mound which may possibly mark the site of the town of Indraprastha of the Mahabharata story. The standing ramparts and other building were, however, built by Sher Shah Sur (A.D. 1538-45) after demolishing and remodelling Dinepanah, a city founded here by Humayun in about A.D. 1533. After his return from Persia in A.D. 1555 Humayun resided here till his death in A.D. 1556 and is believed to have repaired and constructed some protions of the citadel.
Purana Qila is irregularly oblong on plan with bastions on corners and along the western ramparts its principal gateways on the North, West and South are crowned with Chhatris and are known respectively as Talaqi, Humayun and Bara Darwazas. Among existing buildings inside are Sher Shah's Mosque and a tower known as Sher Mandal. Originally, a moat Surrounded the rampats and was connected on the east with the river Yamuna.
