Designed by Riwaas (R I W A A S), led by principal architects Riya Verma (Riya Verma) and Arjun Verma (Arjun Verma), this 22,000 sq. ft. farmhouse in New Delhi was conceived for homeowners seeking a home that embraced luxury and generous proportions without losing the warmth, comfort, and familiarity of everyday living. At its heart lies a monumental courtyard inspired by the verandahs once found at the centre of traditional Indian homes, becoming the organising force behind the entire residence.

From this point, the house unfolds through expansive volumes and spaces intended for daily family life. While the planning draws from familiar Indian precedents, the architecture takes its cues from Japanese design, with generous glazing, double-height spaces, and a courtyard that allows natural light to move through the house from morning until sunset.

Italian marble, timber flooring, textured wall finishes, wood panelling, and bespoke furniture create a timeless material palette, while moments of grandeur give way to places that invite you to sit, gather, and stay awhile. The result is a residence that feels every bit as generous as its footprint, while remaining unmistakably a family home.

In the dense urban fabric of Delhi, where homes often stand shoulder to shoulder and space comes at a premium, the idea of grandeur is frequently associated with expansive plots and sprawling footprints. This residence challenges this notion entirely. The 11,000 sq. ft. residence demonstrates how true luxury can be achieved not through scale alone, but through the intelligent orchestration of volume, light, and spatial experience.

At the heart of the project was a clear vision: to create a home that feels expansive, dramatic, and undeniably grand despite the constraints of a linear urban site. For Ansh Goel, Founder of Studio Reset, the solution lay not in stretching the plan outward, but in elevating it upward. The residence embraces verticality as its defining design principle, allowing space to unfold through soaring volumes, visual connectivity, and an abundance of natural light.
Throughout the interiors, a contemporary design language unfolds with remarkable refinement. Bespoke furnishings crafted from linen, brass, marble, and wood create an atmosphere of understated luxury. Suspended above the living and dining areas, an elegant composition of pendant lighting introduces a subtle sense of drama while emphasizing the home’s vertical proportions.
Casa Paradiso is not simply a large house. It is an exploration of how architecture can elevate everyday life through proportion, light, and volume. In doing so, it offers a compelling vision of modern luxury, one where grandeur is measured not by footprint, but by the experience of space itself.

A dining room designed around atmosphere, where every detail works quietly together to create a space that feels layered, warm, and deeply considered.

Soft mint toned paneling wraps the room, bringing a sense of calm without overwhelming the space. Floor to ceiling built in shelving with subtle beadboard detailing adds texture and depth, styled with collected objects, books, and art that feel curated rather than decorative.

At the centre, a round marble dining table introduces soft movement through delicate veining, paired with deep ebony dining chairs in a rich burnished fabric that anchor the palette beautifully. Overhead, a sculptural open lattice pendant adds an organic moment, while full height sliding panel doors bring scale and architectural presence.

Every material in this dining room was chosen to create balance. Texture against softness, structure against warmth, and timeless detailing against contemporary restraint.

A space designed not just for dining, but for gathering, lingering, and conversation.

On a dense Delhi street where homes press tightly against one another, Ansh Goel of Studio Reset asked a simple but ambitious question: can scale still be a home’s greatest luxury? In this 11,000 sqft private residential villa, the answer is a resounding yes.

The response to the linear plot came not through the floor plan but through section. Verticality drives the entire spatial experience, anchored by a triple-height atrium that draws natural light deep into the home and connects every level visually. Ceiling heights exceeding 13 feet run throughout, and a towering 23-foot entrance door transforms arrival into a moment of quiet grandeur.

The facade reveals little of the drama inside. Clean lines, a muted palette of concrete, tile, metal and wood. A disciplined arrangement of windows and balconies keep the exterior restrained. A curved terrace and circular window offer the only counterpoint to the orthogonal geometry.

Inside, bespoke pieces in linen, brass, marble and wood anchor the living and dining areas beneath a sculptural pendant light installation. A floating marble staircase reads as a monolithic form within the volume. Each bedroom is conceived as a complete suite with a lounge, walk-in wardrobe, and bathroom.
