I lost my boy. Lost my friend, my companion, my second brother. This house will not be same without you, Jimmy. After my brother, it was you, who gave us strength and filled that spaced. Accompanying mom on her every step, you always took care of her just like her son.

You are not here with us anymore, but we all can feel your presence.

Every corner of the house feels so empty and I don’t know if we can ever come out of this feeling.

Thanks my boy!! Thank you for everything you have given to us. These 12 years were very special with you and I can never ever forget the memories of the moments that I have spent with you.

I hope you will guard us from there, as you have always done.

Rest easy. You will always be the no.1 in all of our hearts. ❤️

Attending the 2024 CWS Annual Conservation Offsite was truly enlightening. Our conservation teams from the Western and Eastern Ghats came together to attend the conservation offsite. I learned a lot, reconnected with old colleagues, and made new friends. The 4 days workshops and activities improved my skills and deepened my understanding of conservation practices. I’m very thankful to Centre for Wildlife Studies and Dr. Krithi K. Karanth for the opportunity. It was a great chance for personal and professional growth in the field of conservation.

Lets pause and reflect!

Nowadays, the majority of decisions prioritize human development for a better quality of life. However, in this pursuit, innocent creatures, not benefiting from these advancements, often suffer life-threatening consequences. As we are towards the end of this year, lets take a step forward to protect the lives of these tiny creatures. Let’s make sure we maintain our speed while we drive across a forest patch. Many animals loose their lives due to such road accidents every year. Let’s make sure we contribute to reduce the number of roadkills next year.
Drive safe, protect yourself, protect these animals.

Delighted to have the opportunity to judge the “Mystic Wilderness - Celebrating Goa's Ecological Riches” photography competition by the Goa Forest Department in association with the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of St. Xavier's College, Mapusa-Goa. The photos submitted by the students were truly remarkable.
It was an honour for me to be one of the guests at the Photography exhibition and prize distribution ceremony held at the St. Xavier's College, Mapusa.
It was good to listen to the thoughts about opportunities of photography and other arts by the Special guests Forest Minister of Goa, Shri Viswajit Rane, Assistant Conservator of Forest, Shri. Paresh Porob, Fr. Antonio Salema, and Principal of the College, Dr. Blanche Mascarenhas.

It was a nice experience meeting and interacting with the forest department staff, college staff and student photographers.

I'd like to extend my special thanks to .n and the organizing committee for inviting me to be a judge for this outstanding contest.

Mostly, men stay in their village, far from the dark of the jungle, but sometimes they travel, and when they do, their caves breathe in the dark. They call it the Red Flower. Man's creation. It brings warmth and light and destruction to all that it touches.
