Great hornbill | Dudhwa National Park
Yet another unique species found in the jungles of Tarai.
Sighted these beautiful and large birds in Dudhwa on a winter evening. Usually said to be found in the Western ghats and North-East India, they are found in Indian Tarai jungles and Nepal too. One can easily identify them with their peculiar sound they create with their wings while flying.

Hey, wanna check out my hut?
Tigress 'Nak-kati' from Kishanpur wildlife sanctuary of Dudhwa tiger reserve standing by a hut which is actually a bird watching hide on the bank of Jhadi-tal.
However strange it may seem but yes, there are 4 bird watching hides and 2 watch towers where you can get off your vehicle for photography and observing wildlife AND Tigers seem to have developed a liking of these spots for morning and evening stroll.

Can you see my soul?
A Grey Langur a.k.a. Hanuman Langur absorbing the first rays of sunlight on a cold winter day at Kanha National park.
This made it's fur glowing bright separating it from the dark body. A perfect backlit image I wanted to make since long.
