At my place, we all love to cook and my better half makes lovely South Indian food .. . Idli wada sambar is a very popular food all over India and it originated in the south of India where it is almost a staple food. It is served with coconut chutney, tomatoe chutney and molgapudi or gunpowder a kind of rough dry powder prepared from different dals and spices.

One of the staple diets in northern India is locally known as rajma chaval... mainstay of the common man. It has plenty of protein and starch. It is nothing but kidney beens gravy prepared with local spices and ginger garlic served with rice that is tossed in jeera fried in ghee. It has become very popular all over the central and northern states for its spicy and fragrant laden whole meal.

Mutton sukha is favourite snack with drinks plus one can enjoy it with indian bread made in tandoor. Squeeze lime and add some onions.. and you will be surprised how satisfying it gets.
