Sikkim Set to Welcome Over 5,000 Riders for 16th Northeast Riders Meet in Namchi
Namchi, Sikkim: Sikkim is gearing up to host one of the region's biggest motorcycling gatherings as more than 5,000 riders from across Northeast India, along with enthusiasts from Bhutan, Nepal, and other countries, are expected to participate in the 16th Northeast Riders Meet in Namchi.
Ahead of the mega event, Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang (P.S. Tamang) extended his warm wishes to the Open Road Wanderers Motorcycle Club, the organizers of the prestigious annual meet. He expressed confidence that the event would further strengthen regional friendship, promote responsible riding culture, and highlight Sikkim’s immense tourism potential.
The Northeast Riders Meet has grown into a celebrated platform that unites motorcycle enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds, fostering camaraderie and cultural exchange. This year's edition is expected to provide participants with an opportunity to experience Sikkim’s breathtaking landscapes, winding mountain roads, rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality.
