In the encounter, a local militant was killed, and an army soldier was injured. Reportedly, the militants attacked a Naka party, which was repelled by joint forces.

11 days ago, an electrician namely Danish got injured while installing CCTV cameras.
Unfortunately he breathed his last today.

Now GDC Boys Sopore along with Govt Boys higher secondary and Govt Girls higher secondary suspended their class works for today.

As per the Principal GDC sopore, she said that due to ongoing exams the class work has been suspended.

And as per the principal of Govt Girls higher secondary they have an internal meeting that's why class work has been suspended.

The principal of Govt boys higher secondary also put forward the same reason for suspension of class work.

Police arrests 02 terrorist associates in Sopore

Arms, ammunition & IED recovered

Sopore, 10 May 2023:

Police alongwith security forces have arrested two terrorist associates linked with proscribed terror outfit LeT in Sopore and recovered incriminating materials including arms & ammunition, IED from their possession.

Based on a specific input regarding presence of 02 suspected individuals near Saidpora Bypass area, a joint cordon and search operation was launched by Police, Army (22 RR) and CRPF (179 Bn) in the said area. During the search operation, 02 suspected individuals were spotted trying to run away in an attempt to break the cordon. Assessing the situation, the vigilant troops displayed situational awareness, extreme restraint and exceptional fire control in not opening the fire. Subsequentially, both the suspected individuals were arrested on the spot. They have been identified as Kaiser Manzoor Mir son of Manzoor Ahmad resident of Behl Mohalla Saidpora and Muzaffar Majeed Mir son of Abdul Majeed Mir resident of Shalpora, Brat Kalan.

During initial questioning, both the arrested accused persons confessed that they were working as associates for local active terrorist Bilal Ahmad Mir resident of Brath Kalan Sopore linked with proscribed terror outfit LeT.

Incriminating materials, arms and ammunition including 15 Pistol rounds, 25 AK-47 rounds, 01 IED and 02 Hand Grenades were recovered from their possession.

A case under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station and further investigation is in progress.

A mother praying for her child outside Examination centre.
See how A mother is waiting for her child, who is inside the examination centre for NEET examination. I noticed this mother for almost 1 hour and his hands were in the same position and her lips arev uttering something and her eyes were closed. She will continue to pray for her child till his/her exam ends. Sometimes Prayers are required for achieving the success, Hard work alone doesn't work all the time.Mothers role in someone's success can't be weighed or returned. She not only cares, she Remains awake, when everyone sleeps. She choose to become wet in the rain, when everyone walks to the shelter, She wears the old, when everyone Chooses the new, She is a mother, whose love can't be compared with anyone in the world.
