“Not just an aesthetic picture of staircase.”
Here is a fun fact. Due to the 23.5 degree tilt of the earth, the sunlight falls on these south facing stairs only during the winters.

The rest of the year, the sun rises overhead and sets without an inch of light entering the windows. But in the winters, I get to shoot some really beautiful pictures at my home.

This picture was shot during the winter solstice when the sun is at it’s lowest in the sky, thus producing such long shadows even at 11:30am. To get the same result in summer you might wanna shoot a bit early in the morning

Back in 2014 when I started photography I never imagined how much it will impact me as a person. It has bestowed me with some of the best moments in life - travelling to places known & unknown. It has made me more sensitive towards my surroundings and changed my perspective towards everyday things. Truly grateful!

Assuming you’re currently isolating yourself at home amid the COVID-19 pandemic , I URGE YOU TO FOLLOW & other credible news sources during this unfortunate time.

Over the past few days after our Prime Minister announced the JANTA CURFEW many people took up the announcement as an opportunity for their selfish gains. I came across many videos that said “clapping hands & utensils will kill the bacteria & virus around us” OR “how the 14 hour curfew will kill the virus completely.” During this time , it is extremely important for us to refrain from spreading such false information. What shocked me more was that many educated people advocated it. PLEASE take scientific precautions and don’t be gullible enough to believe in such false information.

Yesterday I also came across some radical statements by Anti CAA-NRC politicians that COVID-19 is nothing but a coverup for Citizen Amendment Act.

At this point I just don’t know what’s more deadly , the virus or these people who advocate false information. That being said , it’s high time we educate ourselves enough to differentiate what’s right & what’s wrong. Make sure you don’t be a medium for false information ! I also urge everyone reading this to report any false information they come across. Our safety depends on the decisions we make in the coming days.

P.S Make sure you don’t crowd the streets at 9PM as soon as the curfew ends. Stay isolated as much as possible 🤍

This is a bit different. Although videos are supposed be well planned before shooting, this was quite impromptu. Adding to that I was using completely another camera system which made it difficult to find even the most basic settings. Adding to that I tried using a gimbal for the first time & tried cinematography myself for the first time 😹. As we stepped out to shoot the sun had already set and we had no concept in hand.

But honestly I feel it turned out better than what I expected out of this unplanned footages :P
