モルディブの海は、ただ眺めているだけで、時間が静かにほどけていくような感覚になる。
スマホに手を伸ばすこともなく、何もしないことがそのまま満たされていると感じられる。
そんな静けさの中で、自分のこれからが自然と浮かび上がってくる。
海をただ眺めながら一日を過ごす
そういう時間の使い方も、この場所にはよく合っているのだと思う。
The sea in the Maldives has a way of gently loosening time, just by watching it.
Without even reaching for your phone, you begin to feel that doing nothing can be quietly fulfilling in itself.
In that stillness, thoughts about who you are and who you want to become begin to surface naturally.
Spending a day simply gazing at the ocean—
it feels like that kind of time fits this place especially well.

I had an incredible time in an incredible place.
In Turkey, in Canberra, and hopefully somewhere else in the world again I look forward to our paths crossing once more.
Our conversations about aviation and government were all sharp in perspective, and simply fascinating.
Until we meet again.
