Straya’! 🇦🇺
Four weeks in Australia gave me more than I could have imagined. Road trips with close friends, sunsets in Merimbula, winter lights in Ballarat, wild kangaroos on trails, penguins waddling back to their burrows in Phillip Island, and countless starry nights that made me question if we’re living in a simulation.

But beyond the travel and the landscapes, this trip healed me. It reminded me of what matters most: time with family and the people who truly ground you.

I’ve shared the full story on my blog, along with all the photographs from the journey. And as a thank you for reading, I’ve made one of my favourite photographs from the trip available as a free download!

An evening of timeless storytelling ✨

Shivranjani Entertainments brought the Dastangoi Collective and their Dastan Mantoiyat to डॉ. काशीनाथ घाणेकर नाट्यगृह, a spellbinding Dastangoi performance on the life and works of Saadat Hasan Manto, the legendary Urdu writer.

We had the privilege of photographing this event, performed brilliantly by Meera Rizvi and Shadab Syed Hussain, who captivated the audience with their oration, emotion, and lively performance. Off stage too, they were gracious, humble, and respectful, an absolute joy to spend time with!

🎭 A true celebration of art, voice, and tradition through the magic of Urdu storytelling.

This immersive walkthrough highlights the living, kitchen, and bedroom - all shown in natural light to reveal its true textures, tones, and elegance
For this project, the choice of a cinematic wider perspective - which we've always preferred and have been suggesting for a while, brought the storytelling to life exactly as we imagined.
It was great to capture not just the space, but also a glimpse of the experience shared by one of the residents.
