KUTHIRANMALA SREE DHARMASASTHA TEMPLE 🛕🧡

An ancient temple of Lord Dharmasastha, where the deity is worshipped as Ashwarooda Sastha — seated on a horse, giving Kuthiran its name. 🐎✨

For generations, travellers passing through the old Kuthiran road have stopped here to seek blessings for a safe journey. Maybe that’s what makes this little temple feel so special — it has been part of so many journeys, long before mine. 🤍

And now, one of those journeys is mine too. 🌿🛕✨

Valparai — where the roads turn green and every view feels like a little escape. 🌿💚

Tea gardens, misty roads, sudden rain, waterfalls, and those quiet moments in between — Valparai gave me a little bit of everything. 🍃🌧️
Just one of those trips where you come back with more photos than words. ✨

Valparai, you were beautiful. 🤍

Sometimes I look at my life now and think about the girl I used to be.

The girl who barely talked to anyone, who wasn’t allowed to make friends, go out, or live the kind of carefree life she always dreamed of. A girl who spent so much of her younger years watching life happen from a distance, never knowing that one day she would leave her country, come to India, study Civil Engineering at NIT, meet people from different places, travel to places she had only seen on a screen, make memories, laugh freely, and finally experience the life she once only imagined.

These four years have been about so much more than a degree. They’ve given me freedom, friendships, journeys, sunsets, unexpected adventures, countless photographs, and a version of myself I never knew existed.

Sometimes I feel emotional thinking about how far I’ve come. Because this life I’m living now—the travelling, the exploring, the little moments of happiness—is the life that the younger me always wanted.

And maybe that’s why I hold these moments so close. Because I know what it feels like to not have them.

I don’t know what life will look like after these four years, and honestly, that thought scares me sometimes. But for now, I just want to live this chapter completely. To go places, meet people, make memories, take too many pictures, laugh a little louder, and be grateful for the life I once thought I could never have.

Maybe I didn’t just come here to study.

Maybe I came here to finally become the girl I was always meant to be. 🤍
