We sat in silence for 47 minutes. The jungle didn’t move. Neither did we. And then, tucked between two ancient trunks, barely a whisper of spots, he turned and looked straight at us. This is not a photograph of a leopard. This is a photograph of patience rewarded.

How long did it take YOU to spot him?

As the evening light filtered golden through the canopy, there she was. Maya. Draped across her favourite branch like she owned every inch of the forest, because she does. Those piercing blue eyes, half open, unbothered, ancient. She wasn’t performing for anyone. We were simply lucky enough to be in her world for a few quiet, breathless minutes.

There is something about witnessing a leopardess in her element, unhurried, magnificent, completely at peace, that rewires something deep inside you. You stop thinking about your inbox, your deadlines, your noise. There is only Maya, the fading golden light, and the sound of the forest holding its breath.

This is what EcoTrailz ™ | Premium Wildlife Experiences lives for. Not the tourist trail, not the crowded viewpoints, but these moments. The ones that find you when you are willing to go deeper, stay longer, and let the wild show you something real.

Maya didn’t need to do a thing. She just existed, and that was everything. 🐆✨

Ever since I saw Panchi-kun’s story, there’s been this quiet ache in my heart. Born in July 2025 at Ichikawa City Zoo in Japan, he was abandoned by his mother and raised by keepers who gave him a stuffed orangutan to hold. That little plush became his comfort, his anchor. He carries it everywhere. Slowly, he’s learning to play and belong, but he still holds on to what made him feel safe.

Today I saw ma’am create an AI image for him. I’m usually not a fan of AI pictures, but this felt different. It felt full of intention and love.

So I created one too. Just a small way of sending virtual love to Panchi-kun. As an animal lover and rescuer, these stories don’t just pass by me. They stay in my heart.

And for once, thank you internet… for showing love, not noise.

Some places don’t arrive on a map.
They arrive when the universe quietly decides the timing is right.

All these years of photography, Kanha National Park somehow never happened for me. Not once. No plans, no near misses, just… not meant to be. Until now. And when it finally did, it felt less like a visit and more like a homecoming.

Kanha is not loud. It doesn’t try to impress.
It simply exists in its full, ancient grace. Calm. Grounded. Almost meditative. The kind of forest that slows your breath without asking. The kind that stays with you long after you’ve left.

As someone deeply drawn to habitat frames, this moment felt like a quiet gift. A Barasingha stepping into filtered light, sun rays slipping through the trees as if the forest itself decided to spotlight its own poetry. No drama. No chaos. Just alignment.
Tell me this isn’t poetry. Oh my… this kind of love is very real.

Moments like these remind me why I pick up a camera. Not just to document wildlife, but to witness harmony. To freeze seconds where light, subject, and silence agree with each other.

Endless gratitude to for being more than a teacher, truly a brother in the field, and to for curating an expedition that felt thoughtful, soulful, and unforgettable.

Some experiences don’t fade.
This one is etched forever. 🧿❤️🙏🏻

2025 was a year of lessons. Some gentle, some painfully loud.

I lost my dear fur kids, a kind of loss that changes you quietly.
I also learned hard truths about people I once held close.

But this year also showed me something beautiful .. the quiet strength of those who chose to stand by me when it mattered most.

“Not everyone who walks beside you is meant to stay forever, but those who do… change everything.”

And through it all, I was reminded that growth is not becoming someone new. It is remembering who you were before the world told you otherwise.

I take the lessons.
I release what no longer serves me.
I thank those who stayed, I bless those who left, and I let go without bitterness.

Grateful for the love that held me up.
Grounded in truth and clarity.
Looking ahead with calm hope and a stronger heart.

Here’s to a gentler, wiser, better 2026 ✨🧿

April 25 — Ranthambore treated me to a majestic sight: Riddhi's daughter, strutting her stuff with the confidence of her lineage. The granddaughter of Machli, Riddhi has passed on her fearless gaze and powerful stride to her cub. Seeing this young tigress approach me felt like witnessing the birth of a future legend in Ranthambore.
