It was the slow realisation, on a random afternoon, that what you thought was ‘just ordinary’ was, in fact, the entire point of your search. An understanding that the simple things weren’t fillers, but the foundation.

The morning of Surbhi and Anosh’s wedding was enveloped in a sense of calm that we rarely experience. One might attribute it to the sacred atmosphere of ISKCON, but this felt entirely different. It was an almost meditative energy—rooted in hope, strength, and love—emanating from the two of them and holding fort, protecting us all.

Don’t get me wrong. There was chaos where chaos needed to be; it’s a wedding, obviously. However, in their presence, even that chaos didn’t feel chaotic. It felt more like a soothing hum—the kind that stays with you and that we find ourselves carrying even a month later.

Some days in this field stay with you long after the lights go down, reminding you why you do what you do and making you deeply proud to be an artist. Surbhi and Anosh’s wedding is effortlessly one of them.
