In family sessions I intend to create photos that can be described as “core memories” - playful, precious, spontaneous, emotional. Sometimes it takes time to get in the rhythm so I only offer full 60min+ sessions. In the shoot itself I observe more than I guide to leave space for true things to unfold. Even though I often don’t speak the same language with kids, they get used to my presence and act as they are. And what I think is the most beautiful thing about childhood, is how they change so quickly and it’s not just how they look what you want to remember, it’s how they laugh, how they show their love, what they enjoy doing. To me it’s the little moments that matter the most.
