Best Amateur. EPAs 2026. Still sinking in!

I’m truly honoured and humbled to receive Best Amateur Award, at The Event Photography Awards, especially among such a talented and inspiring community of photographers. I'm really sorry I was unable to attend the Awards Evening last week and share some banter with like minded people.

Last year I was so pleased to be joint winner with the very proficient photographer Andrew Poutney , who had been the winner in 2024, so to be outright winner this year, words cannot express what this means to me.

My heartfelt thanks to all the well‑wishers for your kind words, and to everyone at the Event Photography Awards — the judges, sponsors, and organisers. For me this is an incredible recognition, in my continuing quest to improve my photography.

Also a massive thanks to everyone who has provided me with the opportunity to photograph at their events, without you this award would not have been possible... each one has helped to shape this moment
