DETAILS 👁️
Omg guys!! I had so much fun going through all these photos and remembering the stories behind them!!!
Because every single one has one. Some are funny, some are very personal and some you would never guess just from looking at the photo.
There’s a ring inspired by mount Fuji, a Rolex from a couple who work for the brand, sunflowers to honour a friend who had recently passed away, socks with the groom’s face and cufflinks with their cat because obviously the cat needed to be part of the wedding somehow 🤎
And these are just a few.
I really wanted to tell you the story behind every photo in this post, but that would make this caption way too long… so I think this is my sign to finally bring my blog back from the dead and make a post about all of them!
Also, photographers: do you enjoy shooting details?
I know for some people it can feel like one of those things you just have to get done (and tbh that’s how I used to feel about it too) but over the years it’s become one of my favorite things to photograph. I love getting creative and finding a completely different way to photograph something I’ve already shot a hundred times 💍✨
PS. Cover photo by the incredible Icelandic photographer Ragnar Axelsson, from his book Faces of the North, which I highly recommend to anyone interested in documentary photography and Iceland.
