What a privilege it is to be able to drive to the Moon and Jurassic Park, all in the same country! 🫶🇮🇸

As always, after a trip like this I instantly wanted to go back and get all those shots I didn't get because :

A: I was busy taking in all the beauty.

B: Got some shots, but the skies were too blue and overcast, aaaand I was at the wrong time at Krakatindur with harsh sunlight and dark shadows ! 🫣

Better luck next time with that, but what an amazing road trip! 🥰

We drove, into the mist, across black volcanic sands, past a few cautionary signs warning of the of impending doom hiding in the mist, the majestic Hekla!

This journey, to Rauðaskál and then onwards on a unammed path into the misty mountains, was more than beautiful, it somehow went beyond that and into a category it's own! ⛰️💚
